Disinfection (Yeast & Fungi) Test for Household Product

This test evaluates the disinfectant efficacy of a product against fungi and yeasts. Passing the test helps support the product claims relating to disinfection efficacy with the data received.

What is EN 1650?

EN 1650 is a test standard to evaluate the disinfectant efficacy of a product against fungi and yeasts. It is applicable to products used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas.

How is the test conducted?

The test is conducted with reference to EN 1650-2019 with validation of neutralization method. 

 

What kind of information should I provide to get a quote?

  • Product's instruction of use (ready-to-use, or specific usage instruction like dilution)

 

How long will the test take?

It takes 25 working days for a regular service. 

 

How much sample should be submitted for the test?

Please submit a minimum of 200g or 200mL per product for one test.
