Q1. How long does it take to get a WRAP certificate?
It depends on the factory’s preparedness for the application. Some factories may be certified in as little as six weeks, but in most cases the certificate is issued between two and six months after the application is submitted. Therefore, if the factory takes longer time to complete the whole process, they should either repay the registration fee or apply for an extension.
Q2. What is the level(s) of WRAP certification, and the period of validity?
There are three levels of WRAP certification – Platinum, Gold, and Silver, and the certificates are valid for two years, one year and half a year respectively.
