IP Waterproof Test

When an electrical device is labeled as water-resistant, it means that the device’s construction makes it more difficult for water to get inside of it, or possibly that it is coated with a very light substance that helps improve the device’s chances of surviving an encounter with water.

Service Scope

Ingress Protection Marking (IP Marking) is the classification system for how well electrical appliances and their enclosures resist dust and water.

This test service applies to the classification of degrees of protection provided by enclosures for electrical equipment with a rated voltage not exceeding 72.5 kV.

Remarks

Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. A detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase. 

Turnaround time (TAT) and service price are subjected to the content specified in the service scope and feature. Failure to provide test-ready samples or application documents would cause a longer period of TAT.
