What are NP and NPEO?
Nonylphenol (NP) and Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEO) are nonionic surfactants. When cleaning products containing Nonylphenol and Nonylphenol ethoxylates are discharged, it has a large impact on the aquatic environment. The use of Nonylphenol (NP) and Nonylphenol ethoxylates (NPEO) is restricted in domestic cleaning products under EU REACH Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006.
