Disinfection (Yeasticidal Efficacy) Test for Hand Hygiene Product

This test evaluates the disinfectant efficacy of a hand hygiene product against yeasts. Passing the test helps support the product claims relating to disinfection efficacy with the data received.

What is EN 1650?

EN 1650 is a test standard to evaluate the disinfectant efficacy of a product against fungi and yeasts. It is applicable to products used in food, industrial, domestic and institutional areas. For hand hygiene products, yeasticidal activity is to be evaluated.

How is the test conducted?

The test is conducted with reference to EN 1650-2019 with validation of neutralization method.

Please submit a minimum of 200g or 200mL per product for one test.
