Toiletry products such as shower gel, shampoo, toothpaste, hand wash, have gained increasing concerns from consumers for the ingredients’ safety and stability.
In China, cosmetic products are categorized into two types, general cosmetics and special cosmetics. They shall fulfill relevant requirements laid down in China Safety and Technical Standard for Cosmetics. Entering into China, general cosmetics and special cosmetics shall go through notification and registration procedure respectively in National Medical Products Administration (NMPA).
