Dr. Carina Yang
Food Technical Manager
Carina has a Ph.D. in Applied and Molecular Microbiology and has worked as a Technical Manager in SGS China H&N division since 2012. She is familiar with food testing and Chinese food standards and provides technical consulting and support for client projects. Since 2016 Carina has focused on regulation changes related to special foods including health foods, infant formula, and foods for special medical purposes. She actively engages with government agencies, China’s national review centre, key opinion leaders, research institutes, and business operators. She has a wealth of experience in health food project design, material review, and problem-solving.
