Service Scope
As Hong Kong’s economy has grown in recent decades, so too has the noise that comes from transport, construction, commercial and industrial sources in this compact, densely populated city. If left unchecked, this sort of noise can lead to mental stress and hearing loss, and also can interfere with daily activities.
The Government of Hong Kong has made sure that major forms of environmental noise are under statutory control, such as Noise Control Ordinance for construction noise & Noise Control (Motor Vehicles) Regulation for vehicle noise.
To assess the potential hazards, SGS provides an on-site evaluation service to detect various sound levels at your site. A comprehensive report including analysis and specific recommendations will be provided to meet Hong Kong’s statutory control and/or specific criteria.

Remarks
Only applicable test items will be conducted on selected product nature and destination market. A detailed test item list will be included in order confirmation email upon order purchase.
Turnaround time (TAT) and service price are subjected to the content specified in the service scope and feature. Failure to provide test-ready samples or application documents would cause a longer period of TAT. TAT is subjected to the successful receipt of all necessary ready-for-testing samples and other materials (if any).
