Service Scope
SGS has prepared a series of performance testing for your elastic power band (fitness use). The US & EU chemical testing are also included in the test plan. Here are the related chemical mandatory test items for compliance. The test will be conducted in compliance with the following standards
- EU REACH Regulation
- Cadmium
- Short Chain Chlorinated Paraffin (SCCP) Content
- Organotin
- Phthalates
- 8 Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs)
- PCP
- DMFu
- Azo Dye
- US Regulation
- Prop 65 Court case – Phthalates
- Prop 65 Court case – Lead & Cadmium
Specific testing of elastic power band is required for the EU and US markets
- Fiber content (EU) standard
- To ensure the product meets the product claim / functional requirements

Test Description
There are specific standards required to be tested for the compliance in US and EU markets. Therefore, the following tests will be included according to the US / EU market test package
